hi support, i can't find this anywhere, but was wondering if there is a way to configure the windows sound sc uses for example, every time i close the chartbook, it does this chime coincidentally, i've been using that same sound to alert me of something important from another program is there a way to shut off the sound when i 'close chartbook' in sc? or to configure sc to use another sound? thank you very much |

problem is sc and the other program i'm using is sharing the same windows sound however, the other program i have is meant to alert me when somehting imporatnt happens... i can't just shut off that sound in windows :( |

It is the Background.wav that is played, part of the Windows standard soundfiles and used in Windows as a hint that user input is required. It is played every time you want to close a chartbook. Then the dialog box appears, asking you "Do you want to save changes to ... " Turning it off in Windows sound settings does not help. It keeps playing. Hence, there must be a command in SC that triggers that soundfile. It is pretty annoying having to hear that crappy noise twenty times every evening. That was not the case in previous versions of SC (i.e. 2123) |

It is the close Chartbook prompt causing the sound. That is from the operating system. That should not happen. We have to look into this. This will be solved in the next release.
