Linear Regression not behaving properly

The Linear Regression drawing tool when initially created always defaults to the "Calc Based On: Open" mode, I want it to open in the "Calc Based On: HLC" mode. I've changed it to HLC in Global Settings, in Tool Settings, in Chart Properties settings and it doesn't change anything. That first, initial drawing is always "Calc Based On: Open" no matter what I do. I can change ANY of the other LR parameters and those changes will be the new default when I create a new LR drawing, everything except the "Calc Based On: Open" mode. Once it's drawn, I can click on any of the 8 buttons in the Properties box and change it to "HLC" mode (that's what they're all saved to), I just can't create a LR drawing in the HLC mode. What do I need to do to correct this? Thanks.

After further examination, I discovered that the LR drawing tool actually was being drawn to my HLC default setting, even though the LR properties box clearly states "Calc Based On: Open". Toggling between the "Open" selection and the "HLC" selection clearly shows that my LR drawing is based on the HLC mode, despite the fact that the properties box says that everything is based on the Open. So I'm good to go, thanks.

We do not understand where you were looking to make the change to have the Linear Regression Drawing Based on the HLC. You need to make this change as part of the Tool Configuration. Hopefully that is where you figured out to make the change. Refer to the information here: Chart Drawing Tools: Linear Regression Configuration We do see that the Properties window is not properly displaying the information for the Calc Based On when it is set to other than Open in a configuration. We have fixed the issue with the Calc Based On not showing the correct value even though the underlying calculation was correct. This will be in the next Pre-Release v 2225.
