Hello: During the week of February 24, we will be deploying support for cash indices from the following exchanges: Dow Jones Indices S&P Indices CBOE Indices NYSE Indices Nasdaq Indices There is a small exchange fee for each of these. These will be offered as part of the Sierra Chart Real-time and Historical Futures/Index Data Feed: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php This data feed is 35 USD per month. Many of our users already subscribe to this data feed and can easily add these indices to the subscription. If you're interested in using any of these indices, then please let us know what Trading service you want to use them with and what particular symbols you want. When will you have the 3 main ETF's QQQ, DIA and SPY real time data available? Where can I get the price list for each exchange fee? Did I read somewhere that traders who sign up to sierra real time data feed prior to march 1 2014 are NOT subject to exchange fee's or did I read this wrong?? Thx |

Stock data we hope to have released within the next two months. The price of an indices exchange is 3.25USD/month per exchange. Did I read somewhere that traders who sign up to sierra real time data feed prior to march 1 2014 are NOT subject to exchange fee's or did I read this wrong?? This only applies to the CME. No other exchange.

The symbol list from post 1 above includes the $NYA (NYSE Composite Index) cash index. Can you also provide the NYA Composite VOLUME from http://www.nyse.com/about/listed/nya.shtml? IQFeed provides symbol VI7T.Z which I assume is IQFeed's calculated NYA Composite Volume. IQFeed's VI7T.Z is (depending on the day) 5 to 10% less than the NYA Composite Volume from the NYSE Euronext website. I believe most followers of Jim Dalton (www.jdaltontrading.com) and anyone looking to follow the most pure volume figure for NYSE stocks would appreciate a symbol for global composite NYSE volume. The Sierra Chart market statistics data feed does provide the total volume from the NYSE. The symbol is TVOL-NYSE . The volume symbol requested is the NYSE Global Composite Volume which was 2.2 billion yesterday Monday 2013 02 24. (screenshot of the link above attached)

We have added all of the cash index symbols in File >> Find Symbol >> SC Indexes for Rithmic. To see them, restart Sierra Chart if it is currently running. Will be doing the other services later today. Currently you can only receive data for the S&P indexes because these are the only ones that can be currently subscribed to. Cash indexes are all completely ready on the backend, we just need to release support for them through the exchange enablement page in the users account control panel. This will be done later today. Update the symbol settings again as explained here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_GlobalSymbolSettings.php#UpdateSettings Make sure you reconnect to the data feed after. The data you are seeing in the charts is not from the Sierra Chart data feed. And we do not know where it is coming from. Because OEC does not support those symbols to our knowledge. You should see a [M] after the symbol as shown here: http://www.sierrachart.com/images/AlternateMappedDataFeedIndicator.png Once you do, you will need to re-download the data in the chart by selecting Edit >> Delete All Data and Download.
