Hi there, I have a chartbook set up with loads of different charts to trade the ES. I have just received a template of a chart (cht file) which I would really like to open among all my other charts but at the moment it opens up in a different chartbook. As the chart is just a template, is it possible to open this new chart within my existing chartbook so it can be displayed at the same time? Otherwise it exists in an entirely separate chartbook and I have to switch between the two. Regards, Bootsy |

You can duplicate the chart(s) from the new chartbook file to your existing chartbook(s) using the "Duplicate Chart to Chartbook" command - Chart Menu: Duplicate Chart To Chartbook (Chart menu)

"cht" files are chartbooks, consisting of one or more charts. There is not a separate file format for single charts. As was mentioned, duplicating charts between chartbooks is the way to go. |
