Is there a way to customise alerts sent via e-mail? I'm often away from the trading desk and rely on e-mail alerts that trigger based on a crossing of a horizontal line in my chart. The issue I have with this, is that I need to "read" the whole mail and that a lot of information is not relevant. Optimum would be to customise the mail subject with standard text and variables. Also it would make sense to configure the first paragraph of the mail body. The goal is to get all the information needed from the notification popup in iOS. This is the subject from every mail currently: Chart Drawing Alert First two lines from the body looks like: Chart Drawing Alert: NQH21_FUT_CME [C][M] Point & Figure 1-16 #5, Horizontal Line #49, Last (12705.25) Crossing from above (12705.50) | Bar date-time: 2020-12-18 11:58:49 | Alert: Watch out What I would love to see: Subject: Watch out - NQH21_FUT_CME - Crossing from above (12705.50) Body: Bar date-time: 2020-12-18 11:58:49 Chart Drawing Alert: NQH21_FUT_CME [C][M] Point & Figure 1-16 #5, Horizontal Line #49, Last (12705.25) Crossing from above (12705.50) | |

The only customization that you can make is to Include the User Defined Name in Alert Email/Pop-up. Refer to the information here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/GeneralSettings.html#IncludeAlertNameInAlertEmail For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Yes, I know that the only solution currently is the customized name. That's why I wrote "...would love to see...". Maybe you can add it to the features list for upcoming development. |

Guess it is still not possible to customize the subject of an e-mail alert message. Would it at least be possible, to have the alert name at the beginning of the body text instead of at the end? This would really help to get a lot better info from the notification popup on the iPhone and watch. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-09-06 17:33:25

Hi; I would like to see this feature too; or in the very least, the actual alert text be first in the body of the message. If anyone else could let us know if there are any third party programs that might achieve this without having to write acsil code... |
