Hi,

I'm currently an IB user and looking to automate my trading. I mainly trade futures at the moment, came across your software and wondering if SC would be able to do following

1. Trade multiple accounts (e.g. Person1 + Person2 + ...)
2. Trade multiple instruments (e.g. ES + NQ + ...)
3. Trade live + paper at the same time
4. Rule based entry / exit based on tick data and custom indicators (self developed rule/formula/indicator)
5. One chart per instrument per account to monitor progress
6. Custom / personalized logging (e.g Person1.log) for logging order placement (timestamp, type, price, success, failed, stop triggered, etc)
7. Entry/exit rules have visibility to positions (e.g Person1 NQ x 1, Person2 ES x -1)
8. Simultaneously do all of above at the same time
9. Support / tutorial to do above

I am comfortable with tinkering with software and open to use other broker as long as there is support or tutorials available.

Can SC fulfill above requirements?

Thank you

1 through 8, yes this is all supported.

9. Support would be through this Support Board. And we do have full documentation.

Thank you.

Some follow up questions in lieu of your response -

1. If I'm to trade simultaneously multiple accounts, instruments, and paper + live at the same time, do I need to run multiple instances of Sierra Chart?

2. If (1) is true, then do I need to have multiple Sierra Chart subscriptions?

1. Yes, you would need to have multiple installations of Sierra Chart, each one connected to one specific service. Refer to the information here:
Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time

2. No, you would not need multiple Sierra Chart subscriptions. You can install and use as many Sierra Chart copies on the same computer as you want. We only limit you to multiple installations on separate computers, of which you are allowed to install and run Sierra Chart concurrently on two different computers at the same time. Refer to the information here:
Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Licensing / Number of Systems

Your real issue may be related to data, as the exchanges do not generally like to have a single data feed going to multiple systems. But this may not apply, depending on how you are getting setup. Just so you are aware, you can only have 2 of the Denali Exchange Data Feeds to a single computer. Refer to the information here:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: Connections
