Type Text stopped supporting Cyrillic recently

Today I updated from version 2180 to 2201. I have numerous "Type Text" chart drawings in my chartbook written in Cyrillic, and they are still OK. But I cannot type Cyrillic in "Type Text" anymore (no matter if I edit old drawings or create new). When I type 1 Cyrillic character, I see 2 (non-Cyrillic) characters reflected on chart. After that when I click OK, and Chart Drawing Properties, I see the number of characters has doubled in edit box as well, but is different though. I've attached screenshots. Note: none of those symbols are Cyrillic. Before that I used to type Cyrillic in a blind way - seeing correct symbols on the chart only, but not in edit box. Now even this is not possible. I have not found any settings to switch to single-byte encoding or any other related to my problem. Please advice. |

Just recently updated to 2204. Now I am able to see Cyrillic text correctly like before (but still have to type it "blindly" - seeing correct symbols on the chart only, but not in edit box). But all the previously drawn "Type Text" drawings got corrupted. And another issue appeared - I can no more edit text in "Type Text" drawings if it contains Cyrillic symbols. Version 2204 visibility of text modifications on charts "while editing" is no longer working. Doesn't work with or without OpenGL. In prior versions the behavior was that the initial text creation was not visible on chart while creating a new text. However, any edits or modifications after that allowed the edits to be seen on chart during the modification. Will this also be corrected? |
