Hi Support, I have a question regarding Indicator behavior in IB versus Sierra Charts. I set up two identical charts in IB and in Sierra for the same Ticker, all same time frame and same indicator parameters, and for example RSI (2,1)(90,10)in IB chart looks different then the same RSI in Sierra Chart. In IB, RSI is a lot less sensitive and doesn't hit top and bottom lines as often as in Sierra Charts even though the candle stream data in both IB and Sierra looks identical. I as well compared this same RSI to Yahoo finance charts, and in Tradingview charts and Prorealtime charts to see what RSI looks like with them, and the RSI in IB mimics that of yahoo charts and Tradingview and Prorealtime, but in Sierra charts, RSI is different then all four and seems to be a lot more sensitive. I am not sure what is correct. And also if there is a way to adjust or fix it so that I can get the same looking chart as IB? Please let me know. |
