Hey I've been thinking about this for a while... Why don't stock traders use footprint charts? It looks like it's only used on futures, is there any reason for this? Is it possible to get stocks on Sierrachart? https://i.gyazo.com/f18585318bc5c2923df0d04bd330e3f3.png And if it's possible will it be as transparent? Will you be able to see all the necessary volumes to have an edge? Would it make sense to use a Footprint on a stock short squeeze etc.. you will be able to see many trapped buyers at the peak of the footprint, then you might get a sell imbalance and that's a good confirmation to go short, just a thought. |
