Dear Sierra, I think I found a BUG using the upgraded TPO-Study, when „Copying Chart Drawings from Other Charts Automatically “ Copying Chart Drawings from Other Charts Automatically When the TPO-Setting „Letters/Block In own column“is used, everything works fine: https://up.picr.de/39693064rx.png When the new TPO-Setting „Letters/Block In Standard Profile and own column“is used, then the „Copying Chart Drawings“ doesn’t work: https://up.picr.de/39693065gd.png Can you please clarify if this is a feature or BUG? Thanks. Best regards M |

We are not seeing any issues with the Copy Chart Drawings based on the setting of the display of the TPOs. The main thing to keep in mind is that when a TPO is in Standard view, it only knows about the starting time of the profile. Therefore drawings do not generally copy into a TPO profile. But, if it is an extending item (extending line, ray, rectangle, etc.) then those will show up, as they are covering the entire time period of the TPO. When viewing both the Standard and Single Column option, the drawings are going to behave in the same way as when in Standard View. Thank you for your Response, so it is a Feature of the New „Letters/Block In Standard Profile and own column“ Feature. Not a good feature though. „Letters/Block In Standard Profile and own column“ becomes useless if you can copy only extending chart drawings to it. The good old setting „Letters/Block In own column“ works for all Chart Drawings (not only extending) and it is aware of all the column timeframes (based on LN2 - time period length from the TPO setting), as you can clearly see on my Picture. I was using this like forever. Works perfect. So i don't agree with you. This is a major step back. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2020-10-21 14:38:32

This is a flatly untrue statement: This is a major step back.
It is untrue, because this is new functionality and the existing functionality has not changed. There is no step back. Do not post further about this. Regarding what you are looking for, we understand what it is, and inherently you are looking for functionality which is not supported with TPO profile charts but there is some improvement we can make. Although when we only display the letters/blocks and own column first and then the standard TPO profile after. If that is not what you are looking for, then do not post further because we cannot help you. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thank you for your Post. Regarding: but there is some improvement we can make. Although when we only display the letters/blocks and own column first and then the standard TPO profile after.
My comments and the comments of the User who wrote after me (I tested his problems and can confirm them) are solely describing the right-part of the New Feature- the “Letters Block in Own Columns”. This Right-Part (Second-Part) behaves differently as the old “Letters Block in Own Columns” feature we all know and works perfect. If I understood you correctly the only solution is to switch these Profile-Parts from left to right (The second-profile will be the "Standard Profile"), to achieve the same functionality we had. This would be better than it is right now. But please make it as an option. Because every Market Profile Trader looks first at the “Standard Profile”, before it opens it up, and we need to train our eyes differently now. Glad that we found a solution. Thank you!
