I go to Global Graphics Settings / Other and check the enable OpenGL box then apply. It says I need to restart Sierra Chart and I do. Then I go back to same menu to check and OpenGL is unchecked again. Happens every time. Any ideas? This means that OpenGL is not supported on your system. The necessary drivers for it may not be present.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, however, it may be helpful for future users encountering this same issue. I was facing this as well. I fixed it by running Sierra (in my case the ARM version) via Parallels, as administrator. It successfully located the OpenGL 4.1 drivers Parallel uses I assume since the checkbox will now stay checked when running in this mode. |

Thank you. On the above lines, there is SierraChart_ARM64.exe, which fixed the issue by running as an admin (windows asks for permission in a prompt) for me but not the default shortcut SierraChart_64.exe that comes with the installation. Anyways the issue is resolved, thanks.
