The current default setting is limited to range price bar. Not sure how that would work. What do the bar size, offset, and trigger parameters do? Flex-Renko is based on Renko bars, which by definition are range bars, not time bars. |

Hi, bradh customise the bar size to time interval, say 3 minutes each bar; offset by 3 minutes too; trigger parameters say 3 minutes subject too, however subject to similar range bar setting of trigger parameters. Can this be done? |

Based on your description, I don't think so. It does not make sense to me. I am having a hard time visualizing it.

Do you want to create a new bar when range is met, or when 3 minutes lapses, which ever comes first?

Hi tomgilb Allow me to rephrase my question. I would like to customise Flexi Time Inverse based on minutes or seconds to replace Flexi Renko Inverse. For example, completion of 3 minutes interval represents 1 bar interval, and trigger parameter for reversal trend is 6 minutes. So it takes 2 bars of each 3 minutes interval to complete moving in an opposite trend before a new begining of a reserval trend. Does it makes sense.. |
