Hello, Is there a way to identify the Max quantity for BID or ASK trades within a candle with the Number Bars Calculated Study 1/2? Don't need the price level, just the simple Max Quantity for either the Bid or Ask column of every NB. Perhaps there is another study with this simple functionality elsewhere. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Hi Tom & SCE, Thanks for taking the time to help out, very much appreciated. It appears i may have not explained myself clearly. I have attached a pic for reference, but essentially i am looking to identify the MAXIMUM Bid/Ask volume within a Number bar or candle. This is a simple MAX value, not a sum of the volume or the trades. Also, please note this is not the POC value of the candle as that is the maximum of BOTH the bid and ask, not the bid and ask individually. Would appreciate if you could have a look at the image attached, its very simple. Thank you both! |

You can highlight the price level of each using two copies of the Numbers Bars study and using the Highlight Maximum Value In along with the Highlight Minimum/Maximum Value Based On Inputs. Refer to the information here: Numbers Bars: Highlight Maximum Value In and here: Numbers Bars: Highlight Maximum/Minimum Value Based On But the actual price levels and values are not readily available within Sierra Chart. In order to be able to get the actual values and price levels you would need to create an ACSIL study. Refer to the following: ACSIL Programming Concepts: Accessing Volume at Price Data Per Bar For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
