Hi I remember there were some thread here on support board about upgrade to version 2104 and over :there's a big change in SW that impact in such a way the existing charts and studies something like a backup of chart is created in the PC etc, but I would like to be sure to what really remain or get lost in case of upgrade to this version before to do it. thx Alberto |

You can safely update without any concern. Backups of Chartbooks are always maintained. And you will not have any problem.

Unless you upgrade to a version higher than v2155, and have custom studies, that is. Version 2151 Available: Foundation For Millisecond/Microsecond Timestamping Custom studies have to be rebuilt on 2155 or higher to use them with 2155 or higher. Although the change occurred at version 2151, there were subsequent changes and now ACSIL custom studies have to be recompiled using Sierra Chart version 2155 or higher.
