I cant figure out how to have repeating vertical lines at particular dates on a monthly basis without putting them in by hand individually. For example on the 1st and the 10th and the 20th of every month over 10 years. For multiple instruments. Can't use Time Lines or Date-Line studies. Any suggestions? |

For something like this you really have to create your own custom study. You could modify the Time Line study: How to Build an Advanced Custom Study from Source Code Time Line Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I don't know how you use a large timeframe with how many bars so don't forget to increase the "Number of Bars to Calculate" study in the Colorbar setting to a higher value. This solution is not effective, but can be used immediately to test what you want to see. If you would like an ACSIL study for this, you can write me a DM. |
