Hi,

I recently upgraded versions to v2156.

Have been using Spreadsheets for trading in Sim mode, and have Maximum Position Allowed (ln:20) set to 2 (two).

Despite this, when running backtest,
a) position size reaches maximum 4,
b) this then throws out my exits(TP and SL), meaning I can have open contracts long or short with no Stop or profit targets attached

Would appreciate you advising how to remedy.
Regards

There is no way we can know the reason for this. It really requires very detailed analysis on your side. We need to know all of the details surrounding the point in time, where the position increases higher than Maximum Position Allowed. And a way for us to reproduce.

I think it may be related to a new message i have noticed.

Message says

TradeActivity files query time 0.074326 seconds. Entries:0. Current queries:1 | 2020-09029 -3:59:08.649

i.e. it appear there is a problem (query) re identifying positions in Sim mode.

Are you able to advise how this query can be resolved?

Thanks in advance

That message does not indicate a problem. It simply indicates a query of trade activity data. There is nothing wrong with that.
