Hello, For some reason, I am unable to get the "Evening Session" to chart US Equities. For my purposes, I have the regular session Start Time = 06:00:00 and End Time = 16:00:00. I have the "Use Evening Session" box check-marked ON and use an Evening Start = 16:00:01 and Evening End Time = 18:00:00. Am I missing something? The main price graph will plot values from 06:00:00 to 16:00:00 and stop. I would like my main price graph to chart both sessions from 06:00:00 to 18:00:00. The reason I am using 2 sessions is because I use the Daily OHLC study and it relies on the regular session end time of 16:00:00 to obtain a correct close value. Thank You. |

I figured out what was wrong and I'm leaving the answer here for anybody that may run into this in the future. I tried to chart the main price graph as regular and evening sessions for the first time today - Friday- and got no evening data. Apparently, the Friday evening data is considered to be Saturday's data in Sierra. In the Chart Settings, you will see a dropdown that should default to "Load All Weekend Data". When I first started using Sierra Charts, I must have changed that dropdown to "Do Not Load Weekend Data" as it seemed unecessary. I'm in the habit of duplicating charts, instead of starting charts from scratch, so the "Do Not Load Weekend Data" has become the default across all my chartbooks without realizing that would have any significant consequence. To sum up, in order to get the Friday Evening afterhours session to chart, that Chart Settings -> Main Settings dropdown must be set to "Load all weekend data" or "Load Saturday data". |

We will look into this. We would not normally expect based upon those session times for the evening session to be considered Saturday in this case.
