hello,

I'm using Sierra for years, absolutely satisfied except one thing - and this is the most ridiculous and complicated task using this platform.

If i want to see 5 or x years of data on a forex 60 min or 240 min (intraday) charts, what is the simplest way to do it?

Every single time i try to download years of data, its a complete joke. I read all those previous posts about this, but none of them helped. SO i figured out a way to somehow download the extended data to the chart, but once i have like 4 years of data on the 240min chart, i cannot ever change the start time or date anymore, so cannot add more days at all. WHY??????

For example: i have USDCHF on 60 and 240 min charts, data starting form 2015-02-01, why the hell i cannot add more days???? What decides the start date??

Total freaking joke, why is it so complicated???????????

Do you have some kind of step-by-step or manual to this process? Please, DO NOT send me the regular links, i've seen all of them and none of them helpful!!!!!

Thank you,

Zolie

You can add more days. This is explained here:
Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Downloading/Viewing More Historical Intraday Data

But you really want to change the the Intraday Data Storage Time Unit to 5 seconds or higher to increase the speed of data downloaded:
Data/Trade Service Settings: Intraday Data Storage Time Unit (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Settings)
