Hi, I am using SC Exchange Data feed with indices subscribed. Every time I want to load a symbol with $ in the beginning directly through chart input with / - eg. /$NASX in the chart - I get the error message that the symbol is unknown. More than once I updated symbols via the server. Anyway the index is loaded then but the error message seems to be there always and this is really annoying. Can you please have a look into that. Screenshot attached Thanks |

This is hard to avoid because Sierra Chart does request security definition data for the symbol from the connected Trading service since that may be a symbol which is valid with that service.

But the data is loaded from the SC feed anyways, even if it would be a valid symbol in the trading service, isn't it? The index symbols don't really change, do they? Won't just a single request if symbol is in array[SC feed index symbols loaded from a json or whatever]
fix the problem?don't try to load from data service Anyway, if it does not cause any other issues... They all seem to load correctly so far Thanks |
