The current available study for average daily range factors in the current session when calculating a multi-day average. If, for example, I wanted a 5 day ADR, I would want that to be calculated based on the last 5 completed sessions. How would I go about getting this? The attached image is how I currently have ADR displayed on my chart.

Have a look at using the Subgraph Displacement setting of 1: Chart Studies: Subgraphs Tab >> Displacement Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Hi, unfortunately, this isnt creating the desired change, unless I am not utilizing it correctly. When I populate displacement, the value of the averages doesn't change at all. For example, I set a 1 day ADR, which just shows today's ADR when displacement is zero. When I change the displacement value, the ADR value does not change at all.

Sorry, you are correct. Using the Displacement will not work with the Text Display for Study (which is what we think you are using to display the ADR values). On the Text Display for Study there is an option for Subgraph Columns Back. Just set that to 1 and it will display the data from the previous day. Refer to the information here for that setting: Text Display For Study Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
