Other users may correct me, but the definition of outside bar I know is the oposite of text below. An outside bar is a bar ..... than the next bar(s). Could this eventually be changed or added as option? Outside Bar [link] - [Top] This study will color bars that have an outside bar pattern. An outside bar is a bar that has a lower low and a higher high than the previous bar. |

This is a correct definition. In any case this is how it is done and we do not see how it can be possible to reference the next bar because that does not even exist when the study is functioning in real-time.

no of course the bar can only be changed eg in color after the next bar is finished. anyway in germany there is a known author of some books and his definition is the one I mentioned. actually I liked the idea of having this automatically when I found the study. but, never mind I can live without. thanx a lot, the more I use SC the more I like it, it is really a great SW !!
