CUSTOM SYMBOLS turn historical in 2nd instance n don't update (SOMETIMES)

HI, I am wondering if it is my settings but i do not think it is, but if course it could be on my end. there are times i will set up 3 custom symbols on a second instance and every once in awhile 1 of them will not reload the data once log back into sierra chart. there are times i will get a notice on the chart that says cannot download historical data. these charts are intraday settings lets say 5 minutes for example not historical. For some reason it is tryng to do daily historical or something which i know doesnt work right now. wondering if you have noticed this and if there is a fix thank you. |

to be more clear these symbols all worked all day and once i log out and then log back in 1 of them wont work sometimes. these are custom paired symbosl say dec crude minus january 21 crude oil as an example. thank you they work and then don't work at certain times and that i think is because they are defaulting to try and relaod historical data when your custom symbols do intraday data, but you gusy said the intrday data is historical now or the system will download historical intraday data. most of the times though it works. thanks |

the answer to this question is to create custom symbols in the main instance and they will show up in the second instance. it was that simple so simple that i spent hours trying other stuff instead of re creating them in the main instance |
