Feature Request - Mouse Click & Hold Functionality

I have, what I believe is, a very useful and smart feature request. The Problem: I use the hand tool very frequently, as I'm sure do many other users, to move the chart around. The problem is I have to constantly switch back and forth between the hand tool and other tools I use, but the hand tool gets the most use. Solution: Right click and hold will activate the hand tool and will stay activated as long as the right button is held down. Then I can move the chart as needed. What I let go it returns to the previously active tool. This will not interfere with the simple right click to bring up the quick select order menu. Another option might be to allow the user to select a limited number of other tools that will temporary activate with the right click and hold option. Just go to Global Settings >> Tool Settings, and under the General tab use the dropdown called After Single Tool Use Change To, and set it to Hand.

That kind of does what I'm asking, but not the full functionality I am requesting. What I'm requesting is a toggling behavior.

OK. There is also a setting on the same General tab which is a dropdown called Right Click Exits Current Drawing Tool To. Try setting that to Hand, or whatever will help give you the functionality you desire. |

This is definitely close to what I am requesting. Really just want the hand tool to activate (toggled on) when the right mouse button is held down. This way regardless of the tool selected I can always move the chart. I think having a configuration setting that says "When right mouse button held down the following tool will be active:"... and then a drop down list of the following tools would be available: - Hand - Chart Values Tool - Zoom In I understand you have priorities for features. Another way to implement this would be to have the crosshair on mouse over activated by default on charts and left/right click would activate the selected tool. It's the case on tradingview.
