Support, do you know which release will have this feature enabled and if the Number Bars documentation will be updated to describe the functionality?

This is released now. It is not part of Numbers Bars. The study is called Volume Value Area for Bars.

Hi,
for this study, is there a way where you can color inside the value area? I can only get lines on the VAH and VAL.
If there is a way to color IN the value area that would be great!

Hello Support,

I can't seem to get the value area shaded in the number bars.. the link you provided advises to use the horizontal lines study and use the subgraph to fill top and fill bottom.. which would work but the value area changes every minute.

What I am trying to accomplish looks like the attached image... a number bar with only volume profile and value area, with the value area a different color or something to show it differently.

Is it possible?

The attached image is not using the Numbers Bars. Rather, it is using the "Volume by Price" study on a per bar basis. Refer to the following for how to set this up:
Volume By Price Study: One Volume Profile per Chart Bar

The only item you would need to change from the default is the Input for "Bid Volume Ask Volume Coloring Method", which you would want to set to "None". Refer to the following:
Volume By Price Study: Bid Volume and Ask Volume Coloring Method

Hello John,

Thank you. I went the route of using Volume By Price and it works as expected. Thank you for the quick reply!
