Hello, apologize for this message, probably some questions are trivial or abundantly explained somewhere, but I couldn't find a definitive answer, so I prepared the following list of closed-end questions for easy confirmations from your side: 1) A couple of years ago I asked for a trial package of Sierra, had a look at the software but didn't succeed in getting any grasp of the ACSIL language.I think I didn't try hard enough and feel like I would like to give it a second try. Would it be possible to have a second trial package for free? 2) I have funded accounts with Interactive Brokers and with AMP. But for the time being I just want to learn how to write simple strategies in ACSIL and backtest them. No real trades will be made and I also don't want to bother connecting Sierra with any brokers. So I need only historical data, but for several types of markets (CME, Eurex, but also Forex and CFD). 2a) Can you confirm that for my present needs I will not need to pay for any "Exchange datafeeds"? 2b) Can you confirm that for my present needs, after the trial package is over (or starting from now in case of no free trial package), I will just need to purchase from Sierra the Package 3 or Package 5 services? 3) In the future, if I decide to use Sierra also for trading and I purchase the real time data from you, I will have to pay for: * the "exchange fees" of the different markets I want to try + * the fees to Sierra. 3a) With regards to your fees, in this page: Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed you write: - For 100 Real-Time Symbols: 1st connection 35.00 USD/month. Does it mean that starting from the second month the fee will be lower or is the fee going to be always the same, 35$ per month? 3b) With regards to the exchange fees, please forgive me but in the above mentioned page I cannot find the monthly costs for CME futures.... There is everything: Eurex, Indices, US equities, CFE futures... but I don't see CME futures. What am I missing? 3c) Let's make an example. Let's suppose that after I'm done with my studies I want to place real trades on the DAX using your platform and your datafeed, through a broker that you support. My cost will be: - 35$ paid directly to Sierra for package 5 - 35$ paid directly to Sierra for 100 symbols datafeed - 21$ paid directly to Sierra for Eurex exchange fees - xxx (??) commission on each trade paid to the broker Is the above correct? Thanks a lot! |
