The following are either color settings which have the internal implementation changed or are new, and are related to the Trade and Chart DOM. These changes are fully effective as of version 2128. Some of them went into 2127 but not finalized and some small issues. All of this is now finalized in 2128 and works as expected. These changes are related to simplifying and organizing these particular color settings and having them all work as expected and consistently. So after updating to version 2128 check these settings if any colors are not correct on a Chart or Trading DOM. Reference: Graphics Settings Trade DOM Text Color Trade DOM Background Color Last Trade Price Box Last Trade Price Box Background Last Trade Price Box Outline Net Change Up Net Change Down Trade DOM Ask Background (Enable this if you want to use this. Otherwise the background color is controlled by Trade DOM Background Color) Trade DOM Bid Background (Enable this if you want to use this. Otherwise the background color is controlled by Trade DOM Background Color) Trade/Chart DOM Values Scale Text ( This setting now works fully independent from Trade DOM Text Color or Chart Text) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. There is a bug here. I had to reset "Last Trade Price Box Foreground" on 20 DOMs, only to find that it is not saving. When I save and reopen, the color reverts to what it was before. I change chartbooks multiple times and can't read my numbers ....

Are you using the chart specific Graphics Settings window or the Global Graphics Settings window? Further, I have tested to confirm that other settings properly save. For example, if I change both "Last Trade Price Box Outline" and "Last Trade Price Box Foreground" and save the chartbook, close, and reopen, the "Last Trade Price Box Outline" change has been retained, while the "Last Trade Price Box Foreground" has not been retained.

This is just not reproducible at all for us. The Last Trade Price Box Foreground color is saved to a Chartbook when using the chart specific Graphics Settings window. We want you to update again to the latest prerelease: Software Download: Fast Update You may have an older revision. That would be the only explanation. Ok, I've figured out the issue. By the way, I think this is the same issue this user had: Last trade price box setting not remebered The graphics settings for the Trade DOM specify a "Last Trade Price Box" ... this color was white, and when the "Last Trade Price Box Foreground" was also set to white, even when saving, SC was reverting the color because it assumed the text would be unreadable. So, I've set the "Last Trade Price Box" color to black, and now the white color of the foreground setting is retained. 1) I would recommend that a warning be issued when this is done 2) The reason the "Last Trade Price Box" color was white was because it has no effect, and I randomly had it set to white. There is a "Last Price Background Bid Trade" (and Ask) settings which actually changes the color of the background. However, the "Last Trade Price Box" setting must be set to "enable" even though the color seems to be ignored. When I disable the "Last Price Background Bid/Ask Trade" settings, and enable the "Last Trade Price Box" setting, the color specified there is not present anywhere. I am having the problem where I want the Last Trade Price Box to be white and the Last Trade Price Box Foreground to be black. It reverts to the former being black and the latter white when I save and reopen.

Is this in the case of a Trading DOM or Chart? And are you using the chart specific Graphics Settings or the global Graphics Settings?

In the file I attached, I have an ES chart open and three ZN, ZF, and ZB trading DOMs. The ES chart uses global graphics settings. The trading DOMs use their own specific graphics settings. When I change the Last Trade Price Box on the ES chart, it doesn't even work. The color does not change. If I change it to white on the trading DOMs, it reverts to black next time I open the chartbook. However, changing it to another color besides white does not result in reversion upon reopening.
