Hello !, As stated previously, I am new to Sierra Charts. I do really like it so far though, and the pricing is reasonable. My question is about the amount of data that is available with SC. I am still on the free trial. I read through most all of this website, and I found one place that stated that SC has "detailed data that goes back to about 2007"(?? It was somewhere around there, maybe 2005?) . Anyway, when I load Forex data, for EURUSD for example, the furthest back date is 5/3/2011 which is not close to what was stated in this website. So, I figure that I am not loading the data correctly perhaps? By the way... it is "intraday data" that we are discussing here. If I understand the process correctly, one can not load any more data then what is noted in the "file size". And that is the most distant date. So , please could you explain this to me, and help me to get data from further back. I am quite sure that I will be purchasing this software for further use...but I need to work out these questions first. Thanks. (also, does Tradestation data work on Sierra Charts?) Thank you for your time, And hopefully I will here back from you very shortly. |
