Hello SC Is there a way to disable or "turn off" a chart/window so that it will keep all of it's criteria (days to load, symbol, etc), but it will not load any data (blank chart) or use any CPU power? I have a set of windows I use every now and then, but they use a lot of data load time. I would like to be able to turn them off until I need them. I would like to do this without having to put them into another chartbook. Thank You! |

Old thread, but same question here - This would be a very nice feature. I turn some DOMs on/off depending on the action of the day / how the correlations are today. I would like to keep these unused windows in some sort of "disabled but ready to go" state without them consuming resources.

You would need to "Hide" the charts you do not want. Refer to the following: Window, CB and CW Menus: Hide Window (Window) Also, if you do not want data downloaded for a specific symbol, then refer to the following setting: Chart Settings: Disable Data File Updating (Disable Historical Data Download) (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Chart Data menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
