A few years ago I constructed many spreadsheets to make buy/sell decisions, simply by copying Sierra Chart Historical Data: (O/H/L/C/Volume) in comma-delimited format.

Now I am having trouble pasting the data into a 7-column spreadsheet, as my method is jamming everything into one column, instead of 7 (even though it is comma-delim). It is driving me crazy that I can no longer make it work. Any suggestions please?

Try this:

In Sierra Chart, go to Edit >> Export Bar Data To Text File.
In Excel, go to Data >> From Text, and navigate to your Sierra Chart \Data folder.
Select the saved txt file, change the Delimiter to Comma.
