Hello. I received a message that I need to update to the newer version. I followed the steps however when it got to the installer, the Installation path is grayed out so I am unable to chose a path and it won't let me install the update

Yes that does make sense because the installer will update the installation of Sierra Chart you are updating and you started the update from through the Help menu. You need to update each installation of Sierra Chart separately through the Help menu of each installation.
