Here is a strange issue that just started happening yesterday. Normally when I would select a different TWC via hotkey, I would see the name of the TWC change immediately in its selection dropdown. But now, the name does not change. If I select the Targets tab I can see that they are changing correctly as all the values change to what I expect. But the name shown in the selector, does not change. Version 2115 64-bit (31574:31575) |

Not sure if this is the issue, but make sure you are looking at the correct Trade Window: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Trade Window Settings Not Applying to Chart or Trading DOM Also we cannot reproduce what you are saying. Thanks, I'm definitely on the right trade window because there is only one and it's attached to the DOM I'm using. Like I said the TWC does change - I can see the target and stop values changing as I select different ones - but the item shown in the dropdown menu does not change. I have no idea why... very strange.

To add to this, the issue does not happen in a second instance. So it seems as though maybe the preferences have been corrupted somehow? I have even set the hotkeys in my main instance to the same as in the 2nd instance, but it still misbehaves in the first instance. I reset my hotkey configuration to default, and reassigned the TWC hotkeys, they still behave in the same way. I reset the entire sierra3.cfg file, launched SC, and reassigned the TWC hotkeys again. No change. Launching the second instance now, results in the TWC hotkeys working correctly in that instance. I'm out of ideas on what else to try. Just to be thorough, I also started over with a second separate copy of SC, made sure to delete the sierra3.cfg and KeyboardShortcuts.config files so SC would make fresh ones, created a new empty control bar, created buttons for my TWCs, mapped the correct TWCs to each button, and assigned hotkeys. I can still see that the hotkeys do change the TWC because the target and stop values change, but the dropdown menu bar filename does not, but only in the primary instance. Secondary instance still behaves correctly somehow. If anyone has any suggestions on this, I'm all ears. |

SOLVED IT! I hadn't thought much of this, but yesterday I organized all my TWC files by naming them in a numbered fashion such as: 1.filename.twconfig 2.filename.twconfig etc. Turns out this breaks them! They still work fine, but the Trade Window dropdown will not reflect which one you have chosen if using hotkeys. Renaming them to 1-filename.twconfig etc. has fixed the issue. Very obscure and confusing "bug" but, there it is. |

Very obscure and confusing "bug" but, there it is. Yes this is a Microsoft "bug". Not Sierra Chart.
