Hi, I have a position on GCQ20 in simulated trading. The original order was at 1705 (that got filled) with Stop Limit Order 1690. I tried to attach target order to the position. I did Send Attach Orders by Price with reference Price being 1751. The order that was created was duplicate of my stop order of 1690. What am I missing? Thank you. |

What exactly were the Attached Orders that you sent. If that included a stop then there would be another stop.

I did not realize that settings in Target tab are driving the order. I "attached" the target order today. However when my stop limit loss was triggered and executed today the Target Order was not cancelled. Why? All in simulated account. What am I missing? Thank you |

To make things simpler, Please provide step by step instructions how to attach a Target Limit Order to an existing position.

Since this is just a single order, you would just simply submit the Limit order as an individual order. Refer to: Chart Trading and the Chart DOM: Entering Orders From the Chart Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. This will NOT work, because I need the system to cancel the Stop Loss order when newly attached Target order is executed or other way around, when Stop Loss is executed I need newly attached Target order to be cancelled.
