"Open Intraday Chart" for options instruments (IB Datafeed)

I am able to load charts with "Open Historical Chart" and unable to load charts with "Open Intraday Chart" for options instruments (IB Datafeed). Futures symbols are working ok. Example symbols Future Symbol NIFTY50-202005-NSE-1-INR (working ok) Option Symbol NIFTY50-OPT-20200521-9200-C-NSE-1-INR (Only historical charts getting loaded but not Intraday) Please help fix the issue. |

It is sierra chart sending request for datafeed. IB TWS is generating error #541, which implies something wrong with the request format from sierra chart. If Open Historical Data works with the same symbol, is the request sent from "Open Intraday Chart" being sent in the correct format?. Please look into it and resolve.

The request for the market data itself, not historical, is the same request independent of the chart type. Even for historical data, Sierra Chart is properly specifying the fields for both Historical Daily and Intraday data. And the symbol related fields are directly set from the symbols themselves: Future Symbol NIFTY50-202005-NSE-1-INR (working ok)

Seems problem with IB only. However, with Global Datafeeds configured as DTC service and IB for only trading, with two instances of Sierra Chart running simultaneously I am able to have consistent and steady intraday charts. Please treat issue as resolved. Thanks. |
