@Sierra Chart Engineering I would like to request that you add a new Text/ Background Coloring Method to the Numbers Bars study . I would like to be able to color the text and/or the background of the Numbers Bars study based on if the Diagonal Dominant bid/ask volume is equal to or greater than the Actual Volume Compare Thresholds. Currently, I am able to color the Text and/or Background using the "Based on Separate Ask Volume Bid Volume - Actual" coloring method but this setting only compares the Ask Volume Bid Volume at Price. There is no coloring method available to color based on the Diagonal Ask Volume Bid Volume that is equal to or greater than the Actual Volume Compare Threshold. The other diagonal dominant coloring methods are based on volume percentage or ask vol bid vol difference not the actual volume. Numbers Bars: Numbers Bars Text Coloring Methods Numbers Bars: Numbers Bars Background Coloring Methods Based on the Coloring Method naming convention the new method would be called: Based on Diagonal Dominant AskVol BidVol - Actual Please see the attached image as an example of what Numbers Bars would appear like if using the proposed coloring method, with the Actual Volume Compare Threshold set to 150. Numbers Bars would highlight the diagonal dominant ask or bid vol that is equal to or greater than 150. If both the diagonal bid volume and ask volume exceeds the Actual Volume Compare Threshold of 150, but are equal in volume (i.e. 190 x 190), then neither diagonal bid ask volumes would be highlighted as neither would be considered dominant. Thank You for your consideration |

@Sierra Chart Engineering, Not sure if this request has been reviewed to be added to future version of Numbers Bars. Since the previous post I have found that this can be achieved using the Gomicators Footprint study. However, I would still like to be able to do the same using the native Sierra Chart Numbers Bars study. This is very helpful when reviewing orderflow to detect large iceberg orders at the highs and lows of a bar. Please see the attached example for reference. Your response would be greatly appreciated. Thank You |

We will try to get to this, but we need to finish up some other work first. Hopefully we can do this in the next couple of weeks.

We have finally had a chance to get to this and have added the option for Background and Text coloring "Based on Diagonal Dominant AskVol BidVol - Actual". This will be available in the next release (v 2125). When available, you can update using the Fast Update option: Software Download: Fast Update For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hello, The background coloring method "Based on Diagonal Dominant AskVol BidVol Difference - Actual" is not working properly when used along with Number bars text "Ask Vol Bid Vol Diff Diagonal 1 Side" as you can see in the attached screenshot I want to highlight the actual volume over 650 which is calculating fine as shown by the small blue arrow but if you look at the yellow arrows it show that it's highlighting the wrong price level it should instead highlight the level below which is the correct calculation. I would really appreciate if some genius can fix this bug please? Thank You Ali |

This is not a bug. You are not understanding what the option for "Ask Vol Bid Vol Difference 1 Side" does. In particular, it is only showing the Bid side of the diagonal comparison - it is not showing the dominant side.
