Hi, I am planning to upgrade my computer to improve the backtesting perfromance/speed in Sierra Chart. Could you please provide some advice which hardware components scale best with SC? For example do CPU cores matter - if yes, how many are recommneded? Are more cores or single core MHZ relevant? Does the GPU matter at all? Thanks |

You certainly want to get at least a six core CPU but back testing can only be done on a single core. CPU clock speed and use of a fast solid-state drive are the most important.
