AMP/ TTNet NBBO Futures Spreads for GC, E6, FDAX etc.

I am very often seeing spreads of 2 ticks for the NBBO of large futures contracts like the FDAX, GC, E6 etc. using AMP/ TTnet with Sierrachart. Is this normal and would I also see this using say Sierracharts own data service? Would be interested in feedback from other traders as well as the Sierrachart support team. |

This depends upon what is provided by the exchange. It will be the same no matter what data service you use.

Thanks. I assumed that for large futures contracts like the ones mentioned, the spread would always be a single tick, just like with the ES for instance. I was obviously wrong and it therefore pays to be much more careful when trading GC, E6, FDAX etc. Difficult to scalp 4-8 ticks, when spreads vary between one and two ticks.....
