Hi, I am trialling your service and like your software so far
I am a top down stock position trader and I like to export my list from my screener into your watchlist feature.
my problem is that when I close a position and I am ready to open a new one, I need to scan ~300 charts with a max of 500.
but the downloads fail after 200 charts it says
HD Request # 14 - Error downloading historical Daily data for ????. Not downloading any data. Maximum downloads exceeded for the day. Limit: 200 | 2014-01-18 08:22:57
I was looking to purchase package 3 and use your historical stock feed.
Is the limit of 200 queries for the trial only? If I buy package 3 will this limitation be removed?
please note that I do not look at 300-500/charts a day. I do this when I close a position and have some money to put to work. So the need for this level of usage would not be a daily event.
please tell me if there is a way around this limitation on the historical feed. I am not a day trader and have no need for real time data. However, I will occasionally look at an intra-day chart prior to taking a position.
thanks for clarifying.

Regarding daily limitations on Historical Data Requests:
The trial is limited to 200 requests/day.
Package 3 is limited to 700 requests/day.
Package 5 is limited to 1500 requests/day.

So you should be fine on package 3.

If you enabled this data feed on your account:

You will also have access to historical Daily stock data and there is no download limitations.

thank you!
If I query the same symbol twice in a day does this count as two queries?
e.g. let's say I need to view my watchlist twice for some reason.
if it does, I might be safer with package 5 even though I don't need the additional features.

also, if i download daily data for a symbol but then went to look at an intraday chart...is this a new data request?
thanks for clarifying.

No, unless you were to restart Sierra Chart between viewing a chart.

Yes it is.
