Issue after changing Sierra drive

Added SSD for dedicated use by Sierra and copied entire Sierra folder over from drive C: All running OK apart from Analysis // New/Open Custom Studies generates error in message log; Error creating process C:\SierraChart\NPP\notepad++.exe. Windows error code 2: The system cannot find the file specified. | 2020-04-18 15:52:20.410 * Error creating the Advanced Custom Studies editor process. | 2020-04-18 15:52:20.410 * In General Settings (1) all 3 Folders are correctly set to the new F: drive Maybe files somehow set to read only? In Help topic 13 not able to locate the Select File >> Properties on the menu and clear the Read Only check box referred to in item (6). Running Windows 10 Please advise |

You need to change the editor through Analysis >> Build Custom Studies DLL >> File >> Select Editor.

Many thanks for such prompt response over the weekend. I would have expected the option to change file to be under Analysis >> New/Open Custom Studies File, as you need to open a file prior to building. For the benefit of any others who encounter this issue after >>Select Editor you need: >> "Yes" >> Folder >> F: (New Drive) >> Sierra Chart >> NPP >> notepad++.exe. |
