ascil user drawing - forcing horizontal line to move with tick size

when i select a horizontal ray line from tools, the price i can input it at follows the tick size, which is the desired behavior. Now i have created the same drawing through ascil. When i move it, it doesn't move along with the tick size, it can be moved to any price. How do i set the user drawing so it can only be moved to a tick step?

Note i found the "Adjust Tool Values to Tick Size" setting, which is set. This seems to only be happening to my 4 second chart. All the other charts are working as expected. Verified all other settings are matching

I also just noticed a horizontal ray line drawn from another chart (then copied to the 4s chart), will also exhibit this behavior of not moving with the tick size on the 4s chart. It works as expected if drawn then moved on the 4s chart. Also works expected if drawn on the 4s chart then (copied and) moved on another chart.

We are not really sure of what exactly the issue is that you are seeing. When you are moving a drawing, it does not "jump" to the nearest tick value until you are finished moving it. And whether it moves to a specific tick value or not, is dependent on the setting for Adjust Tool Values to Tick Size.

When we tried to reproduce the issue of moving a User Drawn Drawing created with ACSIL, we are not having any problem, even on a 4 second chart. It moves smoothly and then depending on the setting for Adjust Tool Values to Tick Size it either jumps to the tick size when left click to end the move, or not.

One other thing, be sure you are not confusing the Snap to High/Low/Open/Close with the adjusting to Tick Size. If you are close to a bar, then it may be snapping to the High/Low/Open/Close which will be at each tick.

If you can give us more information on how exactly the drawing was created and the steps to reproduce, then we will see if we can see what we can do.

thanks for looking into it. ill do more testing to see if i can reproduce it consistently. I originally ran into the issue because the drawing was giving me values not aligning with a tick price (factoring in the imprecision of floats). i havent been able to reproduce it since a couple of days ago (to which ive updated the software since)
