Problem with Flex Renko

I have been using the same chartbook with 2 Flex Renko charts for more than 6 months. No changes to indicators. Flex Renko Bar Size- Tren Off - Rev Off 7-6-1 and 14-13-1 On March 31 everything failed. Charts are constantly looping from "Waiting to Download" and stalling and quickly recycling between Disconnect and Connected. Using same chartbook but switch in 3 Min and 20 Mn runs OK. Note that the Flex Renko when I run system Mechanic reports Available Memory problems that keep recurring. No memory problems reported with time based charts. Your ideas and Help please. I really want the Renks. LOL Thanks |

I have isolated the problem. I have a Horizontal Lines study where I store the last ZigZag price reversal I have 12 studies that are driven from the ZigZag stored vale. They are Study Subtract and Study add. Values are +/- 3,5,7,10,15,20. When I update the Horizontal Line study with a new ZigZag vale the Renko chart locks up for several minutes in "Not Responding" then cycles thru a series of Disconnect and Connecting events and then Waiting to Download. This problem does not occur when I change the study to 5-20 minutes. Help please. I really want to use the Renko chart. Thanks. |

1. Open chartbook (attached). Note time to open and if it cycles thru several connect / disconnect cycles. 2. In Renko 70601 # 4 go to Studies>TD Lines Only #32 (Horizontal Lines) > Settings > Last Zig > 12 and change the value. Hit Apply > OK 3. Note time it takes for chart to update. 4. Note that making a change to any stuy causes the same problem. 5. Thanks for your help |
