I deleted the trade log of by mistake (my fault, but maybe the warning should be triple and in red :) Anyway, I read the TradeActivityLog.php#MissingTradeActivityAndBackupFiles page. I found 18.TradeActivityLog_2020-03-17_UTC.simulated.data (these were sim trades) and tried renaming and copying into the main folder as TradeActivityLog.Data Restarted Sierra but still the trade log is all empty. There is also 2020-03-18 132533.TradeActivityLog_2020-03-18_UTC.simulated.data in the backups folder. Maybe I should try that one? |

The deleted trade activity will be in a file with the naming format like this: 2020-03-18 184148.TradeActivityLog_2020-03-17_UTC.Sim1.simulated.data You are running an older version. So in your version it does not include the trade account. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Does it contain all trades? Because I see the file with the filename of the day before it, is larger. If its per day, how do we combine the trades?

It contains everything it did before the clear operation. Just restore one file at a time, and decide which one you want to use. Another strategy is to export order fills after restoring a file and then import them after restoring the other file. So you can restore the file and you need to restart Sierra Chart after you do that. After that you can export fills through the File menu on the Trade Activity Log, restore the other file (through renaming and copying operations), and then import the order fills to combine them.
