The columns to the right of the highest Formula Column setting are where the study's outputs will appear. They will overwrite any user entries. Why do you need to use those columns? |

If the spreadsheet calculation is complex, you need those columns, I guess I was referring to the columns to the right of where the study data is written. I have a spreadsheet that goes out to column DE or or so. I just didn't use the columns that had study data in them. The only anomaly i see with the columns past the study data is that only row 4 is populated.

You could use the columns to the right of all study outputs, with these caveats: - If you add any studies, formulas in those columns would be overwritten by study outputs. - Formulas in row 3 will not auto-populate to rows below, as Formula Columns do. IOW, these rows and cells are static. Workaround: If you need more than 60 Formula Columns that auto-populate, you can Duplicate the spreadsheet study on the same chart, and set its 'Chart Data Output Sheet Number' to an unused Sheet#, and use/reference the Formula Columns that will be on that sheet. But there are cautions with this also. If you need a static sheet that is safe from being overwritten, you can add a sheet that is not associated with a chart: Go to Spreadsheet >> Add Sheet and give it a unique name so that it's not confused with a chart's sheet. |
