Re-center on chart scroll

Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Re-Center On Chart Scroll (Scale Range) Using Constant Range. Check Box is not selected. Chart still automatically attempts to recenter (sometimes wildly) when I manually scroll via the Hand cursor. |

If you do not want the scale to change at all as you move through the bars then make sure that Scale Settings >> Constant Range Scale Mode is set to Manual Mode. Otherwise the scale is going to move based on what is set there. Understood, I think. But then don't I lose auto-recenter due to price movement. Perhaps I have misunderstood the meaning/purpose of the "re-center on chart scroll" check box. Ideally, I don't want the chart to auto-center unless the last bar is within the chart window. If I have scrolled way from there, then no auto-recenter.
