Hello, I noticed the other day that when I place an order and it fills with no problem, but when the trade goes in my favor my target orders on my chart do not get filled. It's almost like they do not exist. The only way to get out of my trade is to use the flatten button. The only thing I suspect it might be is on the limit order is says child server and I have not seen that before. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks, Phil |

If the Limit order indicated Child-Server as the status, it means it was not active but that does not make sense if the parent order had filled. We have never known there to be a problem like this. We need to know the date and time and time zone of when the parent order was submitted. We need precise details and we also need to know the internal order ID of the parent order. All of this can be determined from the Trade Activity Log: Trade Activity Log: Viewing Historical Trade Activity And we also need to know what Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service Setting >> Primary Server is set to. I just placed an order away from the market to see if I could tell why my limit orders were not working. So when I place an order and it gets filled my target will not fill. Then only way I can get out of my position is by hitting the flatten button. I don't have that problem in sim. Sorry for the confusion.

Hello, I placed a live order again today with the same problem, I could not get my target order to fill. The parent order was id number 16626 at 2020-03-11 at 8:16 EST. The primary server is set to 2. I did take a video of the transaction if you need to see it. Thanks, Phil |

We do see the problem. This is not specific to the Sierra Chart order routing service but it relates to Attached Orders in Sierra Chart. It occurs when you cancel either the Stop or Limit Attached Order before the parent order fills. This then for some reason has prevented the remaining child order from activating. In your case you canceled the Stop order before the parent order filled. We are looking into why this is the case and we will resolve. We are putting out version 2065 in about 30 minutes which is going to resolve this.
