I upgraded to 964 and after that if changing days to display the charts loops and do not stop down loading data. I have to click on the loading % and it stops. The tick size have now changed as shown in the attached picture. If using find symbol the same wrong tick settings shows up. If changing maunally and press ok it loops again. The only way to stop it is to change manually and press cancel. But it takes 5-10 times before the chartloads ok. So what to do? Regards Outlander

It sounds as though there is some problem with the Symbol Settings data. Select Global Settings >> Symbol Settings and press the Full Reset button. Wait until the Symbol list fills back in and press OK. After this go to the affected charts and select Chart >> Chart Settings. Press the Apply Global Symbol Settings button. Press OK. It did not help. It seems to me that all charts have the same pb. The right tick settings shows up then using find symbol but changes as soon as I press ok and the charts loops. I use Transact for data. So what shall I do? Regards Outlander

Does anyone else see this? We have specifically checked to see if this kind of problem can exist, and we cannot see a reason.

What happens if you open a new Intraday chart and you do not set Bar Period Type to either of the Renko types.

I have noticed that the Clock indicator in my charts does not work anymore. It reads 0. If it has anything to do with my pb I dont know. Regards Outlander

Yes it does. That could be the source of the problem. Remove the Clock study, and correct the Tick Size in Chart >> Chart Settings setting and then see if you still have a problem. We did not develop that study. It could be causing a problem.

Ok seems ok now. I had to remove it from all charts and restart Sierra. As you remember you open a new chart in a new chart book and we got the same pb. But remove them all did the trick. Lets hope it will last that way. Thanks for the help. Regards Outlander |

This is good the problem has been resolved because we could not figure out what the issue was. We know custom studies can have bugs and cause problems, but that study did not seem like it would cause a problem.
