I just got an email from mirus. all zenfire users can now trade through continuum. fcm for your account has to be dorman though, so if you`re not with dorman already, you have to open an account with them. so i assume this new feed will also work with sierrachart? technically, is there any difference between cqg and continuum? |

Yes. You can use Sierra Chart with CQG. We do not support the market data from CQG, so you will need to use the Sierra Chart Real-time and Historical Futures data feed. There is no difference between CQG and Continuum. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Please, review the fact to include market data from CQG. CQG supports many exchange that Sierra Chart Real-time data feed doesn't sustain(LIFFE, Euronext, SGX, SFE). |

To my knowledge contiuum is only the trading engine in the new trading architecture of Mirus Broker. First question: So ist it possible to trade with this contiuum trading engine within Sierra Chart in the quality of the former zenfire trading engine (also Eurex like FDAX)? In addition Mirus Future also offers a kinetick data feed which is to my knowledge 100% identical to the IQfeed Second question: So is it possible to use the kinetick datafeed within sierra charts for charting graphs in a quality like IQfeed (also Eurex like FDAX)? Please also correct me if some of my statements are not 100% correct. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-01-09 09:28:56

Sierra Chart will eventually be adding support for the CQG data feed. The Sierra Chart Real-time and Historical Futures data feed soon will be adding these exchanges: LIFFE, Euronext. First question: So ist it possible to trade with this contiuum trading engine within Sierra Chart in the quality of the former zenfire trading engine (also Eurex like FDAX)? Yes. The EUREX data will be provided by the Sierra Chart data feed. There is no need to use IQ Feed/kinetick. We have our own EUREX feed.

Again my 2nd question: In addition Mirus Future also offers a kinetick data feed which is to my knowledge 100% identical to the IQfeed Second question: So is it possible to use the kinetick datafeed within sierra charts ? (for charting graphs in a quality like IQfeed also included Eurex like FDAX) |

No, but there is no need to. We have our own high-quality data feeds: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. thank you for your fast response and informations. My question now is: There ist no quality difference between the IQ feed and the Sierra future datafeed when I use e. g. volume profile and bar numbers on a tick to tick base? Do I have for FDAX a level 2 market depth of 10 points (20 ticks) instead of the normal 5 points? |

So you plan to use Numbers Bars with EUREX? There currently is a bid volume and ask volume problem with it which we are working on. Other than that, all trades are delivered with accurate trade volume. So certainly Volume Profiles will be correct. In other words, the total volume at each price level is accurate. For the EUREX feed, we provide 10 levels of depth. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Thank you the information, so please inform me, if the feed problems with respect to FDAX are fixed. Question: Is it possible to use in the meantime the IQfeed (for charting) together with Continuum/CQG (for trading within Sierra Chart)? |

There is new version of NT7 (R20) that support Continuum with Market data and Trading. That means now Continuum can deliver Data as well. Prior to this Continuum is just for order routing. Is this the same Continuum that SC will support ? |

HMUZ09 FYI: http://news.cqg.com/continuum/products.html Continuum Connect -> Learn More looks like it uses CQG Trader API - the very old and unreliable technology https://develop.cqg.com/qd/?page=ContinuumConnect in this case the Continuum brand is just the trick imho Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-01-13 19:12:06

I think SC Will support FIX Connect under Continuum brand. So NT might be using Continuum Connect (API) This will make sense. |

Hello Sierra Chart Support, I think a lot of traders (not only from Mirus) would appreciate, if CQQ/Continuum is soon availabe for trading and charting. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-01-15 20:15:18

We are just about ready for this. We have released support for CQG, but during some testing today we discovered an issue with Position data. This has been resolved. Although we need to do additional testing. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. I Just had a phone call with Rosenthal Collins Group. They told me that some of their customers already use SC in combination with Continuum respectively CQG. Can you confirm this?

This could not be the case. We have only just release support for it and cannot imagine anyone is using it especially being we have not even written the documentation.
