I subscribe to the Sierra Chart Real-Time Exchange Data Feed. I use it for real-time VIX data. I noticed that the feed stopped today. I use this data as a primary input for my automated trading systems, so it is crucial to me. Please advise on what I need to do to re-establish the data feed. I looked at my account control panel and I appear to be all paid up and have a credit on account and it also appears to state that I still have this service attached to my account, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

We see no problem with the $VIX symbol on the server. I believe I found the issue--I have a second instance of Sierra Chart running on a separate machine that was connected to SC Data; however, I had those both running concurrently for a couple weeks with no issue, so I hadn't considered that may be the problem at first. Do I just need to request a second SC data feed if I wish to run them both concurrently? Thank you for the quick response! |
