I'm running version 2048 and there is a bug with the trade activity log. When running a backtest on SIM, the log will capture the trades, but then if you apply a new filter such as switching what symbol you would like to look at, the trade activity log clears itself... This started happening out of no where.

We want you to update to the latest release: Software Download: Fast Update After that: Select File >> Disconnect.
Select Global Settings >> Convert Trade Activity Format. When it is complete you will see a line like this in the Window >> Message Log: + RegenerateTradeActivityFilesWithoutTradeAccount: RecordsReadCount = 292150, RecordsWrittenCount = 292153 | 2020-02-15 22:28:34.744 It is ok if the records written is higher. But it should not be less. Select File >> Connect to Data Feed. This only needs to be done once. And then examine the TradeActivityLogs subfolder in the Sierra Chart installation folder. You can delete all the .converted files and remove any files for particular dates and Trade accounts you do not need. If there any excessively large files you may want to remove those because they increase the query time length. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
