Hello, I have setup a Friends and Family account with IB and I have my two accounts under it. Now there are a few things to iron out and I need your help with the following: 1) Market Data. SierraChart needs to access market data through this advisor account. I will be logging in through this account only and all orders and market data will go through this account. 2)Paying for the new tick data from CME etc. I was paying for this from my U account, now I will need to pay for and access this data from the F account. 3) Trade allocations: I have created a group in my Advisor account and I was told that I will need to tell SierraChart where to place the trades I execute. I have no idea how to do that. Please advise. 4) Chat, phone? In my opinion this could be best done by phone or chat. Do you provide this kind of support? I will be grateful for your help. Dem |

Using the Advisor account I don't see profit and loss displayed. Is there a way I could have that displayed on the chart in trading mode as I used to have in the normal account? Thanks. |

Hello, I hope this topic of Advisor account is of interest to others. SC behaves differently in this case and I wanted to see if others can share their experiences. For instance, I don't understand how positions are reported. In the picture attached I read Unk1@1829.75 Pos 0 twice. Does this indicate allocation of my two sales to my two subaccounts? If so, why on the occasion of a second sale at 1832.75 there is no such allocation info? And if I had 15 accounts would the whole chart be crowded with notifications? Basically I guess I'm looking for suggestions as to how to configure the display of trades executed and how to verify that all has been allocated properly. I welcome your comments. If you are not seeing your current position displayed on a chart or Trade DOM with this particular Interactive Brokers account, then use the Order Fill Calculated Position: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_TradeStatusWindows.html#OrderFillCalculatedPosition Those order fill text drawings you see on the chart, are received from Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation. They simply indicate the order fills. Does this indicate allocation of my two sales to my two subaccounts? If so, why on the occasion of a second sale at 1832.75 there is no such allocation info? And if I had 15 accounts would the whole chart be crowded with notifications? We do not know the answer to any of these questions. These are Interactive Brokers specific questions. You need to ask Interactive Brokers.
