I think not, you have to use CQG/ AMP for trading on SFE. Try searching the support board. There were posts abot that already.

Yes there is this data available but it is not streaming data. Do you need the charts continuously updating or is updating every 10 minutes acceptable?

Yes I need real-time data i.e charts updating continuously. So if I understand correctly the issue is with interactive brokers? If yes, will it work with AMP futures? thanks V |

Understood. We do not recommend Interactive Brokers market data. ASX data is available through CQG when using AMP. CQG is supported by Sierra Chart.

Thanks that makes sense. However I use IB and do not want to use another broker. Is it possible to use CQG data feed --> SC --> IB i.e. CQG data feed with SC and IB? I have seen some posts on this topic last year but they are too long and techie. Will appreciate help if this is possible? Thanks |

Yes but that recommendation only applies for the CME group of markets. Since we have a better alternative in that case. For other markets CQG would be the only other reasonable choice other than Interactive Brokers but we expect this to change hopefully by June this year once we have the real-time ASX data (hopefully) and then you can use our TT order routing. You could then use that order routing service with a broker in Australia which would be affiliated with Macquarie(Bell Potter). Hi, I am setting up an account with AMP futures with CQG data feed for Australian SFE. It has 3 options 1) Package 3 - Free for (AMP direct customers) 2) Package 5 - $25 charge 3) None - you purchased your own license from SC Considering I have my own account with SC, can I still choose Package 3 I read in one of the posts - "For access to Sierra Chart through AMP you need to rely on them. We cannot help you with that. " So will the support not be good if I choose option 1 AND will I need to set up my SC platform again if I go with option 1 thanks |

Hi, By putting my username/password in the data/trade service settings, I am able to connect to CQG - AMP for trading ASX SPI However when I am connected, I get disconnected from the CQG Desktop login with 'Concurrent Session' message. I know that you do not support this but how are people dealing with it? This problem does not arise with IB. Also if I trade only using SC without being logged into CQG, will all my trades go through and be executed correctly on CQG/AMP? thanks Vishal |

And you will not have this problem when using the Sierra Chart order routing service. So when we have ASX market data available you would not need to use CQG.
